Island hopping is why most people come, but plenty of days do not spend well on the water. The Coast Guard grounds tours in bad weather, some travelers get seasick, and a week of nothing but bangka boats wears thin. What Can You Do In El Nido Without A Boat Tour?

Which El Nido Beaches Can You Reach By Land?
Four main beaches are land-accessible. Nacpan is a long twin beach about 20 km, roughly 45 minutes, north of town by tricycle or van. Duli is a quieter surf beach further north. Las Cabanas and Corong Corong sit just south of town on the sunset side, with Corong Corong known for its evening light.
Nacpan is the one worth the ride: a broad sweep of pale sand with room to spread out and simple beach shacks for lunch. What Is The Best Land Adventure In El Nido?
Taraw Cliff is the headline. The jagged limestone peak behind town is climbed on a guided fixed-cable via ferrata and canopy walk, ending at a viewpoint over Bacuit Bay. Add the Las Cabanas zipline across to Depeldet Island for a shorter thrill, or the off-road jeepney land tour that strings together northern beaches and viewpoints by road.

Separately, a long day trip by road reaches the Puerto Princesa Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage site, none of which involves an El Nido island-hopping boat.

What Is There To Do In El Nido Town Itself?
The town is compact and made for wandering. A tight strip of restaurants and bars runs near the waterfront, serving fresh seafood, Filipino plates and international food, and it turns into the town's nightlife after dark.
